The MATCHCAP XL™ is a nearly indestructible waterproof match case for storing matches and other survival gear. An integral red-phosphorus striker is not only protected from rubbing against the matches but is also waterproof due to its location inside the O-ring sealed cap.

• Storage: Recommended to leave approximately 1/4 of volume empty. Do not overfill.
• Strike Anywhere Matches: Use bottom striker for strike anywhere matches.
• Safety Matches: Use side striker for any other matches. When using side striker, it is recommended to strike downwards towards O-ring to mitigate any accidental lightings of stored strikers in case.

The MATCHCAP XL features a replaceable safety-match striker inside the cap, protected by an O-ring, ensuring the matches don’t rub against it. For strike-anywhere matches, the water-resistant sandpaper pad on the bottom provides a reliable striking surface even in wet conditions, offering versatility when typical striking methods aren't available. This design enhances the safety and practicality of the MATCHCAP XL in emergency situations.

Its high-grade 6061 anodized aluminum body provides a rigid structure, superior to plastic cases that can crack easily and are influenced by fluctuating temperatures.
Waterproof at depths of up to 15 feet (5 meters) thanks to its implemented O-ring seal in the cap.
