The Gadsden flag was originally created in 1775 by Christopher Gadsden, a Brigadier General of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. The flag was given to Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Navy, Esek Hopkins, who unfurled it on the USS Alfred. The flag contains a rattlesnake which symbolized the unity of the Thirteen Colonies and the phrase, "Don't Tread On Me" as a warning of the vigilance and willingness to defend against tyranny. Features the American flag 🇺🇸 on the left sleeve.
These have a classic fit in the waist, with tapered shoulders for a comfortable athletic look. Crafted with ribbed knit collars to retain structure and form. Dual side seams hold the garment's shape, extending the life of the T-Shirt as well. If you conceal carry (CCW) and/or everyday carry (EDC), you'll be happy to know that the slightly longer length design helps cover the waist. Manufactured sustainably in US and internationally - Fair Labor Association/Platinum WRAP certified.
